Barlow Respiratory Hospital maintains the largest longitudinal dataset in the nation with reported outcomes of chronically critically ill patients admitted to a Long-term Acute-Care Hospital (LTCH) for weaning from prolonged mechanical ventilation. The Ventilation Outcomes Dataset (VOD) includes data on more than 7,500 patients over 34 consecutive years.
