Culturally Competent Care

Barlow Respiratory Hospital staff is diverse and welcoming. Our teams come from many countries and provide patient care in several languages including English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog and Armenian with translation and interpretation services to ensure informed and culturally competent care. Dietary needs are met with respect and can include Kosher, vegetarian and other specialized menus. Spiritual care is accessed through our Social Services team who connect patients and family members to pastoral and spiritual care on request.
